FutbolArena have claimed Galatasaray are interested in signing Manchester City midfielder Fernando.
Galatasaray reportedly have spoken to Fernando’s camp over his ‘conditions’ for a move to Turkey, and if everything is suitable for the Turkish giants they’ll make a loan bid for the player.
However, Manchester City are reportedly demanding a fee of around €8m for Fernando on a permanent transfer, but Galatasaray are only looking to loan the player. That fee sounds far too small and could once again be Turkish optimism.
Last week, we covered reports Turkish champions Besiktas were showing an interest in the Brazilian as an alternative to their current midfielder Atiba Hutchinson.
Fernando is currently in preseason training with Manchester City, but it seems he’ll have to accept another supporting role next season. The player is under contract with Manchester City until 2019.
