Real Madrid’s Raphaël Varane has a year left on his contract and is attracting interest from Manchester United this summer.
Earlier this week, Mundo Deportivo stated the defender’s future still remains unknown as hasn’t responded to Los Blancos’ renewal offer.
There seems to be a new development and the fresh update is provided by journalist Carlos Bustillo, during Onda Cero’s El Transistor. He states ‘Varane is going to Manchester United’.
According to Bustillo, the 28-year-old is not in favour of renewing his contract with the La Liga side because he wants to join the Red Devils.
The France international is managed by CAA Base and the journalist states the agency that represents the defender is ‘already in negotiations’ with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

The player wants to leave Real Madrid for the Premier League giants and it’s said the offer from the Old Trafford ‘will arrive’ at the Spanish capital club in the ‘coming days’.
In the event Carlo Ancelotti’s side decide against accepting United’s proposal, they could risk losing Varane for nothing in 2022.
