AS Monaco’s Aurélien Tchouaméni ended up in the ‘sights’ of Chelsea, just days after the completion of the 2020/21 season back in May.

However, the Blues could not manage to get the 21-year-old away from the Ligue 1 side in the summer.

Tchouaméni’s displays for Niko Kovač’s side in recent times saw him earn his first call up for France in August.

Having come off the bench against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Didier Deschamps started the midfielder against Ukraine over the weekend.

Tchouaméni’s performances have caught the attention of the Champions League winners and Juventus.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who have a report focusing on the Turin club’s failed efforts to sign the young player, their plans for the future and also the competition faced by Thomas Tuchel’s side.

The conditions to sign the newly capped France international were not met by the Serie A side in the summer. However, that’s not stopped their officials, who are ‘always active’, to continue monitoring the player.

It’s said Juvenutus will try again to sign him, but the ‘competition is fierce’, ‘above all’ from Chelsea, to acquire Tchouaméni’s services.
