According to a claim in the Greek media, Olympiacos are interested in Hull City forward Abel Hernandez.
The Uruguay international will be out of contract with Hull City and he’s already been linked with a move to Celtic in recent weeks.
Last month we covered reports from Italy that Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on Hernandez and that the Scottish Premiership champions have made a ‘monster offer’ to the player.
It’s claimed Celtic have offered Hernandez a three year contract with a lucrative salary, but with Moussa Dembélé and Leigh Griffiths already at Celtic Park, and Odsonne Edouard perhaps signing permanently, it would be difficult to see were Hernandez would fit in.
If Celtic are to continue pursuing the Hull City star they could face competition from Olympiacos, who are looking to revamp their squad this summer.
Sportdog.Gr claim the Greek giants are looking to bring in a forward in the next transfer window and Hernandez is an option, along with Karim Ansarifard.
As with all things Abel Hernandez, it must be noted that his agent has a record of talking up transfers.
