Premier League clubs, mainly Stoke City and Crystal Palace, may be having a hard time finding a deal for the signing of Bruno Martins Indi from Porto. But it doesn’t necessarily mean the Portuguese side are not keen on selling the defender.

Newspaper Record has a story today coveringĀ all the players who left the Northern club this summer, and more sales could mean a profit of overĀ ā‚¬100m.

With the frequent rumours of a transfer, Martins Indi is obviously mentioned. The newspaperĀ recalls the player has a goodĀ market value in England, and would be one of thoseĀ at the front of the forced queue to leave.

They claim that with Felipe and Marcano playing in defence, it’s unlikely MartinsĀ Indi could compete for a starting spot there. Which in other words, means that he’s a bench player who could still make some good money for the club.

Despite the reports from England saying Crystal Palace had a deal in place for the defender, things have gone a bit cold since last week. The London side and Stoke City often get a mention in the Portuguese papers, but PortoĀ have been holding out for a good deal.

Stoke and Crystal Palace have both signed defenders this week, which could mean their desire for Martins Indi has gone.
