If Fábio Silva doesn’t have a future at Wolves, as appears to be the case, then the best developments for the Premier league relate to his value increasing and the player attracting interest from elsewhere.
The 22-year-old is spending the current season on loan with Las Palmas. He was at Rangers during the last campaign and has previously spent loans away from Wolves at PSV and Anderlecht.
Since making the move to Las Palmas, Silva has picked up 572 minutes of La Liga football, with those minutes spread over eight appearances. In that time he’s scored twice and contributed an assist.
Silva’s contract expires in June 2026, if he can somehow become seen as a Portugal international before next summer then it presents better market conditions for Wolves and potentially a higher fee.
