There’s a report in the Swedish media that AIK midfielder Lamine Fanne is on the verge of signing for Luton Town before tomorrow’s window closes.
In the past week the Spanish youngster has been linked with a move to the Championship side, along with Italian club Venezia.
Expressen have reported on the latest developments regarding Luton Town’s pursuit of the 20-year-old and they say the player is flying to the UK today, ahead of his proposed transfer to the English side.
There are no reports on the length of contract the defensive midfielder has been offered, but Luton Town had to beat off the attention form Venezia, who reportedly made two offers for the player.
Fanne has made nine starts in the league this season for AIK, scoring one goal. He’s contracted to the Swedish club until June 2027.
