Lazio sporting director Angelo Fabiani has admitted they will listen to offers for Matteo Guendouzi, if Aston Villa do want him this season.

A report earlier this week indicated Aston Villa were eyeing up a move for Guendouzi, who manager Unai Emery brought through at Arsenal and knows well.
The belief is that he was leading the charge for the Frenchman, pushing the club to match Lazio’s €30m asking price for the midfielder.
All signs are seemingly pointing towards a transfer effort as Aston Villa strengthen their squad ahead of next season, when they’ll be competing in the Champions League.
Fabiani has pushed back on that somewhat, although he is insistent, they will listen to offers if they do arrive from Villa or anybody else.
“Guendouzi is a Lazio player, and he remains at Lazio,” Corriere report him saying to Lazio Style Channel.
“When we signed Tudor, he knew perfectly well that Guendouzi would remain. With Sarri’s farewell we were faced with the choice of having to hire a coach or choose a new manager to the person.
“Now I feel that there is a mass exodus, it is absolutely not true. Then if offers were to arrive, we will take them into consideration. When he arrived, he knew perfectly well who the players were, he gave his approval It was the least we could do for the fans.”
