West Ham United could be handed a fresh opportunity to sign Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri in the summer window, after failing with their attempts in the past.

That’s according to ABC Sevilla, who state the La Liga side need to raise funds and that can force them to part ways with the striker and Isaac Romero.

The Morocco international has just over a year left on his deal and will be made available for €20m in the next window.

ABC Sevilla explain the chances the 26-year-old previously had to leave the Spanish club, when West Ham made offers to acquire his signature.

It’s claimed David Moyes’ side had offered €30m for the attacker two summers ago, but he went to ‘paralyse’ his own move to the London club, in favour of staying at Sevilla.

The report adds the Premier League side returned for the Andalusian club’s player in January 2023, but he turned them down again.

The situation would be different after this season for both the club and the player, and his stay there seems complicated.

With Sevilla now keen on a sale, West Ham can be presented with another shot to sign En-Nesyri. The question is whether the London club want to grab this opportunity after multiple failed attempts.

The Moroccan has managed 15 goals and an assist from 34 games this season.
