In short, Rabiot isn’t in a hurry and to sign an extension, he needs a long-term contract with a significant increase to the €7m per year he’s receiving now.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have stepped in and carried out ‘first polls’ to sign him on a free transfer. Calciomercato add he finds a move to the Premier League to be attractive.
This, coupled with his renewal being frozen, would give the Red Devils an advantage to try and secure his services in the next window.
