Wolves are again looking towards Portugal ahead of their summer recruitment. The Premier League club have had multiple big successes with signings from Portuguese football, and therefore it’s no surprise they continue to have eyes on the market.

Monday’s edition of Record reports Wolves had an official at Sunday’s match between Chaves and Estoril, which finished in a 2-2 draw.

That Wolves official was there on a specific mission, to keep an eye on Rodrigo Gomes again. The 20-year-old is on loan at Estoril from SC Braga for the season, and it’s claimed that the Premier League side have even made an offer.

That proposal, according to Record, stands at €5m which is obviously a relatively low bid. Gomes’ contract runs until June 2027, so there’s no pressure in that regard.

The youngster can play on either side of the pitch and has scored seven goals and added eight assists in 32 matches.

As luck would have it, the Wolves official was able to see Gomes add another assist on Sunday.

Rodrigo Gomes is not represented by Gestifute, well not yet anyway.
