Juventus star Gleison Bremer is a target for Manchester United and this has been reported in the Italian media since the end of January.
In December, the centre-back signed a new deal until 2028 but that hasn’t stopped several outlets from discussing the possibility of him leaving the Old Lady in the summer.
Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport states Manchester United’s interest in the 27-year-old has made the Serie A side look for options in the market to replace him.
Juventus technical director Cristiano Giuntoli has identified Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori as a candidate to bolster the Turin club’s defence.
The report states it’s probably time for the Turin club to tighten their grip on the 21-year-old Italy international, and he could also replace Bremer, who’s ended up on the Red Devils’ radar.
With regards to Manchester United’s interest in the Brazil international, it’s claimed they would be ‘ready to approach’ the €60m fee mentioned in the release clause, that’ll come into effect from 2025.
Erik ten Hag’s side are willing to pay €60m for the South American and would help Juve not just to make profit from his sale, but also invest part of the money [€30m] to sign Calafiori.
