Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are reportedly among the clubs who are ‘keeping an eye’ on Flamengo youngster Lorran.
According to journalist Jorge Nicola, Premier League sides are watching the 17-year-old’s situation as he’s making it difficult to agree a contract extension with his club.
Flamengo recently offered him a new deal and that was rejected by the player, who’s currently tied to them until December 2025.
As foreign clubs start getting interested in him, it’s said Crystal Palace and Newcastle are among those, with the only problem being that he’s protected with a €50m release clause.
Nicola claims that Lorran recently signed a deal with agency Roc Nation, who represents big players such as Vinícius Júnior and Gabriel Martinelli, so there could be something for him on the horizon.
A disadvantage that Crystal Palace and Newcastle United may have is the competition from Manchester City.
That’s because Lorran has a smaller release clause for Brazilian clubs, and since the City Group have Bahia in the South American country, they could be used as a bridge.
