As things stand, Jürrien Timber has still not made his comeback from a severe injury to his knee at Arsenal, but he is getting closer.
The 22-year-old has been out since the first game of the season, when he came off in the 50th minute with a cruciate ligament tear, and has been working to come back ever since.
His twin brother, Quinten, gave an interview to NU in the Netherlands about him reaching the Dutch national team for the first time, and still managed to have some kind words for the Arsenal youngster, relayed by Ajax Showtime.
With Jürrien now training again and hoping to make a return to the pitch for the Gunners before the end of the season, the Timber brothers keep supporting each other, helped by their close knit family.
With his brother having already reached the Premier League, Quinten is still aiming for the top and has plenty of time to do so.
As for him one day playing with Jürrien at Arsenal or another club, he said: “We are not so concerned about playing together for one club. Playing against each other was special too. The Premier League is of course a great league. Only God knows where it ends up.”
The 22-year-old has been in great form for Feyenoord this season, which is why he was called up by Ronald Koeman, scoring seven goals and assisting another seven in 37 appearances in all competitions.
