Leeds United’s Diego Llorente will ‘remain hospitalised’ after suffering a head injury, according to ANSA.
The defender moved to AS Roma on a loan deal last summer and has been a regular for them this season.
In the Giallorossi’s Europa Legaue tie against Feyenoord on Thursday evening, the Leeds owned player came off worse after clashing heads with Ayase Ueda.
The Spaniard was stretchered off the field and was replaced by Evan Ndicka in the 85th minute.
ANSA explain that the 30-year-old has already undergone a CT scan and whilst there’s no alarming news, it’s said he’s still in hospital.
Over at TuttoMercatoWeb, they also explain that the centre-back ‘remains hospitalised’ at Villa Stuart.
The CT Scan is ‘currently negative’ and the report adds the former Real Sociedad man is in ‘good condition’.
Roma are scheduled to train on Friday, for the clash against Torino on Monday. It’s not yet clear whether Llorente will be in contention for the next fixture.
Llorente has made 30 appearances this season, managing two assists in the process. The Italian club have an obligation to make his loan stay permanent if certain set conditions are fulfilled.
