Rangers are not close to a deal for Dinamo Zagreb youngster Marko Bulat, despite suggestions he could be on his way to Ibrox to play under Philippe Clément.
That’s according to Vecernji list, who say a deal is ‘not close to being realised’ and any suggestions otherwise are media speculation.
The newspaper covers some of the rising stars of Croatian football at this moment in time and how few of them are likely to secure big transfers any time soon.
Instead, the focus is very much on slightly older players who will bring the money in for the likes of Dinamo and Hajduk Split.
22-year-old Bulat is one such player and recent reports have indicated Rangers are interest in him, with Philippe Clement continuing to try and improve his options at Ibrox this month.
Bulat could fill that hole and repots had suggested he could be making the move, but Večernji list insist that is not the case.
According to them talks of a €6m move are ‘only media speculations’ that are ‘not close to being realised’ at this moment in time. They also feel the fee being touted would be wide of the mark.
In other words, any Rangers fans getting excited about this potential arrival at Ibrox may want to tempter that excitement, because, in Croatia at least, they don’t believe it, and nothing appears to be happening.
