As Crystal Palace shareholder John Textor is the owner of other clubs such as Botafogo and Lyon, the Brazilian and French media give him a lot more attention that he gets in England.
Today, he’s featured in an interview with Le Monde, mostly talking about his work done with the Ligue 1 side.
There was also a mention to Crystal Palace, though, with the French newspaper asking him about his work done at the Premier League side.
Textor claims to be satisfied with what he’s done in England so far, saying he’s been contributing to Steve Parish’s actions.
These haven’t been great months for John Textor. First speaking of Lyon, they’re currently at the bottom of the Ligue 1 table, with only 10 points after 15 fixtures. That’s one of the reasons why he’s now explaining to Le Monde what has been happening during his administration there.
The businessman also lived a nightmare in Brazil, where Botafogo stayed on top of the league table for eleven fixtures, and despite a huge advantage, they ended up finishing in 5th after a major collapse.
