Four different clubs are interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion centre-forward Andi Zeqiri, according to reports today.
Swiss outlet KMedia claims that Lille, Montpellier, Werder Bremen and Lazio are all keen on the 24-year-old.
It’s said that Zeqiri ‘will leave Brighton’ by the end of the transfer window, so it remains to be seen which of those clubs will manage to find a deal with the Seagulls.
The striker spent the last season on loan at Swiss side Basel, and had 18 goals and two assists in 50 appearances for the club.
His move out of Brighton this summer doesn’t come out as a shock, because earlier this month, his agent had already claimed he would leave the Seagulls.
Zeqiri joined Brighton on a €4m move from Lausanne-Sport back in 2020, and so far, only had 13 chances to play for the English club.
With his contract expiring next year, it just makes it more clear that he’s being sold, as the situation makes it unlikely that a new deal will be signed.
The centre-forward is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €3.5m, and all this competition could certainly favour Brighton to get a fair price.
