Director continues to pursue Leeds United player – Transfer ‘developments are expected’

On July 28th, we covered claims from Italy that Salernitana have to make an economic sacrifice to sign Leeds United’s Leo Hjelde.

It was also stated the defender’s exit from Elland Road could go through in the first week of August… but that obviously didn’t happen.

The Italian club are in the market looking for a backup for Domagoj Bradarić and have now narrowed down to two options. One of them is Hjelde and the report mainly focuses on the 19-year-old.

Daniel Farke cannot rely upon Junior Firpo for the next few weeks after he picked up a knee injury. This will allow the Norway U21 international to have more minutes on the pitch, at least initially. He’s already made two appearances this season.
