Dinamo Zagreb star Sandro Kulenović isn’t keen on making a switch to Nottingham Forest in the summer window, according to a report from Turkey.
The striker impressed for the Croatian club last season, scoring 12 goals and registering six assists from 37 games. His form seems to have convinced the Tricky Trees to take steps to sign him.
That’s at least what Karadeniz Gazetesi are reporting and they add that Nottingham Forest have made a bid for the 23-year-old.
They don’t specify the details of the proposal but state the player has rejected their offer. That’s because he aims to join a top club instead of signing for Steve Cooper’s side. This is where, as per the report, Trabzonspor fit in.
It’s claimed the Croatia international, who wants to take the step forward in his career, is ‘looking forward’ to the Turkish club’s proposal.
His agent, Branko Hucika, also represents Trabzonspor winger Mislav Orsic. The outlet adds this could also favour the Turkish club.
Despite these claims it’s not too Premier League-centric to question whether, in the current football world, Nottingham Forest would be a lesser attraction than Trabzonspor.
Indeed, it would feel odd to snub Forest for the Super Big club.
