Napoli forward Hirving Lozano ‘has enquiries’ from West Ham United on the table ahead of possible leaving the Italian side this summer.
That’s according to Il Mattino, relayed by Mondo Napoli, who say it is not yet certain that the Mexican will be staying with the Serie A champions.
They explain that Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is preparing to meet with Lozano and teammate Piotr Zielinski’s agents to discuss their contracts, which expire in a year’s time.
They are ‘willing to listen to any offers’ for the player as, without any new contract agreements being reached, they would prefer to sell both players than lose them on a free transfer next year.
The possibility of selling both is there too, with Lozano having received enquiries from West Ham about a possible move.
They value the forward at around €20m as they look to bolster David Moyes’ forward options for a season in the Europa League following their Conference League success.
Whether that’s a price Napoli would accept isn’t mentioned but with them happy to sell given his contract situation there is potentially a chance for West Ham to get their man, depending on how those upcoming contract talks with De Laurentiis go.
