Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner has insisted he is not yet speaking to other clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, as he gears up to leave the Germans at the end of the season.
La Ola 1 cover comments from the Austrian coach today as he heads towards the end of the season with Frankfurt and a departure from the club.
The 48-year-old will be bringing his two year stay with Frankfurt to an end once the season is over, with a recent report in Germany explaining that they have decided to end their partnership following a ‘crisis meeting’ of those in charge at the club.
Where he ends up after Frankfurt remains to be seen but Tottenham are likely to be an option after a report in March indicated that they had initiated contact with him about potentially replacing Antonio Conte.
That’s yet to happen it seems, with Glasner making it clear in his latest comments that he is not in talks with Tottenham or anyone else at this moment in time.
“I’m now only dealing with Eintracht Frankfurt. I think the team, the fans and the city deserve 100% Oliver Glasner right up to the last game. I feel I have a duty,” Ola 1 report him saying.
They add that that last game isn’t set to be until June 3rd, when Frankfurt take on RB Leipzig in the DFB Cup final. That clash will officially be Glasner’s last for the Hessians.
Thus, if Tottenham are keen, they may have to wait even longer before talks can even begin with the Austrian coach.
