As Adrien Rabiot’s contract with Juventus is nearly expiring, we’re about to see a new saga about his future this summer.

Newcastle continue to be named as one of the contenders to sign the 28-year-old, as that’s today said by Calcio Mercato.

Even though Juventus will try to keep the midfielder and he keeps ‘a door open for them’, the Frenchman is still to analyse the offers on his table.

Calcio Mercato say ‘concrete moves’ come from the Premier League, with Newcastle willing to ‘bet’ on Rabiot to ‘keep growing’.

It’s claimed that when the Magpies tried to sign the player in January 2022, their new project had not yet been ‘well-defined’, and that means they should have a bigger chance now.

Newcastle should be aware of the big battle there will be for Rabiot this summer. Besides Juventus, the report lists Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool, Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid all in the list of interested clubs.

Despite having lost the title race in Serie A, Rabiot and the Old Lady are still alive in the Europa League, so his focus hasn’t been on his future yet.
