For those who were worried about Andrey Santos’ lack of playing time since moving to Chelsea, it seems that the issue is solved.
According to reports from Brazil, the player has already signed his loan contract with Vasco da Gama and will soon be used on the pitch.
That’s reported by UOL journalist Paulo Vinícius Coelho, who says Andrey is joining on loan from Chelsea until the 30th of June.
It’s said Vasco are working to have the midfielder training as early as possible this week. Even though it’s ‘hard’ to have him as a starter in the derby against Flamengo on Sunday, it’s claimed that the plan is to, at least, have him on the bench.
According to UOL’s maths, Andrey should have about 15 appearances for Vasco da Gama in that period, so it’s no surprise that the club will try to use him as much as possible.
The player is now getting more appearances, which will help him be granted a work permit to feature for Chelsea in the Premier League. He should also play at the U-20 World Cup for Brazil in the coming months.
