As Adama Traore’s contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers expires at the end of the season, clubs are finding a great chance of signing him for free.
This seems to be the case of Napoli, who, according to Alfredo Pedulla, are working on his arrival.
The report claims Traore became a ‘track’ for the Serie A side back in November, and the contacts are ‘always alive’, especially with the player rejecting a renewal offer from Wolves.
Now Napoli seem to be moving more seriously, because according to the report, they already made a formal proposal for a €2.5m salary, with bonuses which could make it reach €3m.
It’s well known that Traore draws the interest from other European clubs, and that’s why the Italian side are said to be taking this pursuit very carefully.
Alfredo Pedulla claims Napoli are ‘keeping contact with the entourage’ as they wait for the answer.
With the story only talking about the contract offer, it doesn’t seem like the Italian club plan to buy him in January, as no talks with Wolves are mentioned for now.
