Earlier today, we covered an article from Italy claiming that Dusan Vlahovic’s agent had enjoyed an ‘exchange of ideas’ with Tottenham.
That will mean he will have sat down with Fabio Paratici to discuss a potential transfer to Spurs, and it seems a new meeting is now set to take place with the London side.
TuttoMercatoWeb are the ones reporting an update, as Atlético Madrid are labelled the ‘most interested in the Serbian’ and are the ones who, ‘through intermediaries’, came closest to meeting Fiorentina’s demands of €70m or so.
Both Tottenham and Inter ‘continue to be interested’ as well, and with Darko Ristic, the player’s agent, ‘in Milan tomorrow, the two clubs will prove to test the waters to understand the feasibility of the operation’, with a ‘meeting’ scheduled.
That’s where they might struggle, however, as Fiorentina’s owner, Rocco Commisso, ‘doesn’t want to lose his jewel’.
Despite that, the offer from Atlético has ‘opened a debate within the club’, because if the fee does reach the demands, they will have to think twice about turning down such a big amount of money.
Will Tottenham want to pay that much? After all, if they are prepared to offer €85m + €10m for Lautaro Martinez, then why not?
