With Achraf Hakimi now inches away from completing his move from Inter to Paris Saint-Germain, the focus has fully turned on Hector Bellerin.

The Arsenal defender is seen as the ideal man to replace the departing Moroccan at San Siro, and Gazzetta dello Sport have a big piece on the Spaniard and his views.

From fashion to veganism, the Italian newspaper look at it all, and while there’s no denying Bellerin is a well-versed human being, he’s also a footballer who has found himself on the outskirts of Mikel Arteta’s plans of late.

Struggling for game time in the Premier League from February onwards, the right-back could find an escape with Inter, who have ‘elected him as their favourite in the post-Hakimi campaign’ as they ‘are counting on recovering him with confidence’.

Simone Inzaghi, who took over from Antonio Conte at San Siro, ‘is a big fan of him’, but the decision to let him go will be Arsenal’s.

If they do, they will have to ‘digest the idea of a loan’, with ‘the addition of the granting of the right of redemption set at €20m’.

That is, right now, ‘an unthinkable figure’ for Inter, ‘but in a year, there could be more room to stretch the wallet’.

We’ll have to wait and see what comes of this, but the ball is entirely in Arsenal’s court, as Inter have already seemingly made up their mind.
