For the past few weeks, various reports have stated David de Gea is looking to leave Manchester United in the summer, after having lost his place in the starting lineup to Dean Henderson.
The Spaniard took days off in March for personal reasons and has made two appearances, which came in the Europa League, since returning to the squad.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has continued to stick with Henderson and this has only increased rumours about De Gea moving away from Old Trafford.
As the 30-year-old’s future remains uncertain, the Red Devils, meanwhile, are dragged into the mix for other goalkeepers. Among them is Juventus’ Wojciech Szczęsny, who has been linked with a return to the Premier League.
The same source also labelled the recent rumours linking Szczęsny with a move to United as ‘garbage’. The custodian feels very well at Juventus and his intention is to continue with the Turin club next season.
