Tuttosport features a piece today where they’ve spoken to several agents regarding the future of Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Following Juventus’ elimination from the Champions League, there’s now some doubt on the player’s stay with the Old Lady, and the Turin newspaper thought it’d be a good idea to listen to the opinion of those who work on the transfer market.
One of these representatives was João Santos, described as the one who has Chelsea midfielder Jorginho as his main client.
Besides giving his opinion on Cristiano Ronaldo’s future, the agent also suggested some other signings to Juventus, and took the opportunity to play down the chances of a move from the Blues’ player.
“In attack, to partner with CR7, I’d take Richarlison from Everton. Pogba, on the other hand, would be the ideal player in the middle of the field. Jorginho is a top player, but he doesn’t have the right attributes for the current type of game of Juventus. He is a low 4-3-3 leader.”
What’s amusing about this is that we often see João Santos speaking to the Italian media and teasing with Jorginho’s return to Serie A.
He’s done it as recently as last week when speaking of a comeback to Napoli, despite highlighting his contract with Chelsea.
Juventus, however, don’t seem to be one of the options on their list now that Maurizio Sarri is no longer there.
