As the Marcos Rojo saga continues, the Argentine media doesn’t expect it to take too long until an outcome is found.
The Manchester United defender seems to have two strong options to return to his home country this month, with Boca Juniors and Estudiantes de La Plata both trying his signing.
Back on Tuesday, newspaper Olé reported that the Buenos Aires side made their bid official, offering Rojo a two-year contract with an option for a further one, and were waiting on his response.
Now today, La Plata outlet El Día brings the view from Estudiantes, claiming that club president Juan Sebastian Verón is using Rojo’s affection for the club to convince him join them.
Rojo had a loan spell at Estudiantes last year, but due to struggles with injuries and the Coronavirus pandemic, he was only able to make one appearance in six months.
Now both clubs expect him to rescind his contract with Manchester United and make the move this month. El Día claims that his final decision should be made in ‘the coming hours’.
