Inevitable Coutinho transfer talk
Philippe Coutinho is in sparkling form and that brings rumours of a Spanish transfer. Catalan newspaper Sport believe every player on the planet has a desire to wear the Barca shirt, and they say Coutinho is no different.
It’s even claimed his agents approached the Catalan club over the summer about a move. Barca aren’t interested at the moment.

Liverpool defender makes European Team of the Week
Joel Matip’s performance against Crystal Palace at the weekend has seen him included in Gazzetta dello Sport’s European Team of the Week.
He’s one of several Premier League players in there. However, there’s no Coutinho, which brings about some head scratching on behalf of the famous old Italian newspaper.
The Belgians don’t sound thrilled about Simon Mignolet
Belgian newspaper Het Belang van Limburg on Monday have an article basically insinuating Jurgen Klopp isn’t being especially fair on Mignolet.
Liverpool’s manager has made it clear Loris Karius is his number one goalkeeper, but his shaky performances have been highlighted by HBVL, who also believe Liverpool fans haven’t been too impressed either.

The Catalan media, and Sport especially, are never happy when English clubs are sniffing around Barcelona prospects, which would be more understandable if the same newspaper weren’t so happy printing stories like the Coutinho one mentioned above.
Liverpool have been scouting Barcelona youth products and there are a few possible names already placed on the table by Sport.

Over the past few months, France’s Foot Mercato have linked almost half the Premier League with Moussa Marega. The 24 year old currently plays for FC Porto, but there’s no glaring reason Liverpool need him.
