There is a claim in the Italian media that West Ham United and Crystal Palace have made attempts in ‘recent hours’, via middlemen, to sign AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca.
The Colombian’s future at the San Siro looks uncertain and West Ham and Crystal Palace could offer the player a way out.
With the deadline getting closer, the two London club could carry out some last minute business, but it’s Crystal Palace who need a forward more than West Ham. The Hammers today confirmed the signing of Lucas Perez from Arsenal.
However, it’s claimed Bacca is likely to snub a move to the Premier League because he has intentions to return to Villarreal. The attacker spent last season on loan with the Spanish side, and they are looking to sign him for €9m.
Villarreal also have more time to get a deal done for the Colombia international as the Spanish window only closes at the end of the month.
