Earlier today, we covered claims from Spanish newspaper Marca saying that Víctor Camarasa was pretty close to completing a transfer from Real Betis to Cardiff City.

Ready to move on a loan deal, there would be just a few details pending for the player to sign for the Premier League side.

Now outlet El Desmarque claims that the midfielder has already landed in the United Kingdom to have his medical with the Premier League side.

Cardiff and Betis reportedly found a deal on Wednesday morning. The player is set to move on a one-year loan with no buying option for the Welsh side.

El Desmarque points out that Camarasa was close to moving to Brighton in the January window, but the transfer collapsed.

Now he has a second chance to play the Premier League, in a transfer which was an ‘express request’ from the Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock.
