There are mixed feelings in Tuesday’s edition of A Bola when it comes to Anderson Talisca’s transfer to Wolverhampton.
First they say that the player is negotiating his salary with the club.
Talisca reportedly has no problem with signing for a Championship side, since he sees the competition as a bridge to the Premier League.
Then they claim that the FA still hasn’t granted the midfielder a work permit. And the alleged argument for that is because the United Kingdom is leaving the European Union, which doesn’t really make any sense at all.
Talisca reportedly knows the problems and is aware that the transfer could only be happening in the last days of the transfer window.
In case the €25m deal collapses, Benfica and Jorge Mendes are both said to be looking for other sides who are interested in the player.
Talisca is still registered in the Portuguese league, but hasn’t been used by Rui Vitória, only because of the manager’s choice.
