At the weekend, Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford travelled to Spain to complete his loan move to Barcelona, who have also secured a €30m purchase option.
The England international was seen arriving in the Spanish city on Sunday and his medical tests were scheduled for today. Marca reports the Manchester United player has already had his medical examinations at Barcelona’s facilities.
According to the report, the forward will be officially presented as a new Barcelona player on Wednesday.
Mundo Deportivo report the 27-year-old has completed his medical tests and they provide better clarity on his impending arrival at the Camp Nou.
The Catalan newspaper state his signing will be made official in the ‘next few hours’ and two days later, Barca president Joan Laporta will present him to the media.
Hansi Flick has given his players a day off today and therefore, there won’t be training. However, the manager was at the facilities and has already met the Manchester United man, along with Barca sporting director Deco.
Rashford will join his new teammates for training tomorrow and will also be travelling with the Catalan club for their pre-season tour later this week.
