Khayon Edwards will leave Arsenal when his contract with them expires at the end of this month.

This has been confirmed by Arsenal on June 5th, and the striker has to find a new club this summer.

Saturday’s edition of O Jogo has a short report on the 21-year-old and state he’s set to move to Portugal.

They report he’s already received an offer from Canarinhos FC, but could soon end up at GD Estoril Praia.

According to the report, the Englishman’s agent sees the Primeira Liga club as a ‘good solution’ for him. The newspaper adds both the representative and Estoril Praia intend to close this operation in the next few days.

Edwards is a product of Arsenal’s youth system and climbed through the ranks over the years. However, he didn’t get an opportunity to make debut for the north London club’s first team.

The frontman was on loan at Leyton Orient in the second half of last season and managed 12 goals and three assists from 21 games for Arsenal U21 this season. He will start a new adventure in Portugal.
