As usual, Rangers FC’s Alfredo Morelos is being linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer, and those interested could be a serious threat.
Estadio Deportivo point out Sevilla could be keen in Giovanni Van Bronckhorst’s attacker, ‘boosted by rumours’ from Spain that an offer had been made.
That hasn’t been confirmed, but the Rangers man is a striker ‘who perfectly fits the profile that Moncho has been looking for’.
It’s said Morelos ‘would be delighted to take a leap in his career at a club like Sevilla’, having been to the city recently for the Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt that Rangers eventually lost.
He didn’t get to play since he was injured, but he did travel to attend, enjoying the sights and taking photos with Rangers fans.
Either way, Estadio Deportivo got in touch with his entourage, who recognised Sevilla ‘would be a very good option’, as the player ‘likes Spanish football’ and the La Liga side are ‘always participating in Europe’.
Something to keep in mind, as Rangers could finally face the prospect of losing Alfredo Morelos for good.
