Paulo Dybala has been warned he won’t get €10m a year in wages after leaving Juventus, with Tottenham firmly in the mix for him.
Juventus announced last month that Dybala will be leaving the club on a free transfer at the end of the season after talks over renewing his contract, which expires this summer, came to nothing.
That sent a signal across Europe, with the big sides in pretty much all of the top five leagues now eyeing up a potential bargain.
Tottenham have also been thrown into the mix, courtesy of Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici, the latter of whom being the man who took Dybala to Juventus in the first place.
They will likely have to pay big to do so and beat major competition to the transfer in the process, but according to Giancarlo Padovan, they’re in the mix nonetheless.
“He is a proud player, not depressed,” he told Sky, relayed by CalcioNapoli1926.
“He knows that besides Juventus there are many important teams, he knows that he can go to Atletico or stay in Italy, at Inter.
“In England, there are Arsenal or Tottenham: in short, he will not remain unemployed.
“I don’t think he will earn the 10 million euros a year he is asking for, but he wants to prove that Juve was wrong not to confirm him.”
