According to La Colina de Nervión, Lopetegui emerged as an option for Wolves due to his situation at Sevilla and his good relationship with Jorge Mendes. The super-agent himself is a partner of Carlos Bucero, who is the former Real Madrid manager’s representative.
The Basque coach’s exit from Sevilla will be made official after their clash against Borussia Dortmund later today. His future is edged towards England since he cannot manage a new team in La Liga this season.
