Earlier today we covered reports from the Swedish media that Wolverhampton Wanderers target Felix Beijmo was being tracked by Borussia Monchengladbach.
The latest developments regarding the future of the Djurgarden defender claim he’s now close to being sold to another club.
Fotboll Direkt report an offer of €2.5m has been tabled for the 20 year old and a deal could be done as early as this week.
It’s claimed Beijmo is likely to be transferred to the Bundesliga, but as yet the identity of the club hasn’t been disclosed.
However, Wolves are again mentioned as a club who are interested in signing the young fullback, following talks to sign him in the last transfer window. In the end the English pulled out of the deal, but there’s been repeat claims the interest remains.
The Premier League side’s discussions to land Beijmo were also recently confirmed by Djurgarden chief Bosse Andersson.
