According to a claim in the Norwegian media, Wolverhampton Wanderers sent a scout to the game between Odd and Sarpsborg last week.
Wolves have recently been linked with Odd defender John Kitolano after reports the Championship winners recently tabled a bid for the 18 year old.
Ta.no have confirmed Wolves were at the game last week to see Odd defeat Sarpsborg 3-1. Kitolano started the game, but was withdrawn at half time.
Last month Varden claimed Wolves were interested in Kitolano and had made an offer for the youngster. However, Odd are keen to keep hold of the left back and are currently in talks with the player to extend his contract beyond December 2018.
The Norwegian newspaper say Kitolano is highly rated, and is seen as one of best young prospects at Odd.
It seemed inevitable Wolves would be linked with players from Scandinavia, after the appointment of Gary Goodchild in October.
The former Arsenal player is heading up Wolves’ scouting network in Scandinavia.
Wolves have also been linked with Djurgarden defender Felix Beijmo after holding talks with the young Swede in the last window.
