According to Greek website Sdna.Gr, Olympiacos defender Pape Abou Cisse is a transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It’s reported the Premier League side are keen to add to their squad this summer and the 23 year old could be an option. The English side will be looking to build on last season’s success and with Europa League football they will be fighting on more fronts.
The Greek website claim that with Wolves are going forward with a three-man defence and are looking to add Cisse to their squad to provide another option.
It’s claimed if the right offer comes in for the central defender then he could be sold this summer.
However, Cisse is currently playing for Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations, so any possible deal can only be done once the tournament has ended. Senegal will meet Algeria in the final on Friday.
Olympiacos paid Ajaccio €700K to sign Cisse over two years ago and he’s established himself as a key player for the club.
The 23 year old is under contract with Olympiacos until June 2022.
