According to Greek website Sdna.Gr, Aris Thessaloniki are looking to add a left back to their squad for next season and they are interested in signing Leeds United’s Tom Pearce.

Aris are looking to strengthen their team for their upcoming Europa League campaign and Sdna claim the youngster is a necessity for the club.

It’s reported the 21 year old is a loan target for the Greek club and they will open talks with Leeds United in the coming days.

Last season Pearce made two appearances in the Championship for Marcelo Bielsa’s side and spent the other part of the campaign on loan at Scunthorpe United, making nine league appearances.

It’s unlikely he will force himself into Bielsa’s plans for next season and another loan spell is a strong possibility for the young defender in order to get more first team opportunities.

Along with Pearce, Sdna reports Aris are looking to sign Las Palmas’ Dani Castellano and one of these players is likely to join Greek side for next season.

Pearce is under contract at Elland Road until June 2022.
