This year, we’ve seen several stories claiming Wolverhampton Wanderers were in talks to sign Dario Osorio from Universidad de Chile.
At one point, it was even reported the youngster was ‘sold’ to Wolves, even though those claims were never backed up.
It turns out that the Molineux side actually look close to missing out on his signing, even though their interest continues to be reported.
With Barcelona also chasing Osorio, Catalan outlet Sport recently featured a story saying the player isn’t moving to Europe. It’s said he’s actually ‘one step’ from signing for Brazilian side RB Bragantino.
As the news now get to Chile, En Cancha writes that even though the youngster’s move to Brazil could happen in the coming days, he even ‘negotiated’ with Wolverhampton.
It’s not clear yet why Wolves couldn’t acquire the player, since they have more financial power than RB Bragantino.
Since the youngster hasn’t played in international competitions, perhaps getting a work permit was an issue for him to move to the Molineux so early in his career.
