According to Greek website Gavros.Gr, Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to make an improved offer to sign Olympiacos central defender Pape Abou Cisse.
There were claims last week Wolves had made an initial bid for the player but this was rejected by the Greek giants.
Gavros.Gr claims Cisse could leave Olympiacos this summer with Wolves interested in bringing him to the Premier League. The player’s future will become clearer now that the Africa Cup of Nations has ended.
According to the Greek Site’s information, Wolves are ready to table a €20m offer for the 23 year old. The Premier League side will be looking to strengthen their squad with Europa League football on the agenda next season.
Cisse has also been linked with a move to Arsenal in the English press but reports emerged from Greece denying Gunners interest.
He made 29 appearances for the Greek side last season in all competitions and he’s under contract with the club until June 2022.
