A month ago, Calciomercato reported Adama Traoré’s agent Jorge Mendes has ‘offered’ the Wolverhampton Wanderers star to both AC Milan and Napoli.
The winger has a deal expiring in June and earlier claims stated the Premier League side had already made several renewal offers, which he kept rejecting.
Napoli have secured the title this season and Sportitalia state they must now focus on possible signings for the next window.
The Wolves winger is on their agenda and is ‘one of the hottest’ candidates to replace Hirving Lozano, if the Mexican were to move elsewhere in the summer.
It’s further claimed Traoré could ‘say goodbye’ to Julen Lopetegui’s side after this season and it wouldn’t be an ‘uncomfortable departure for the club’.
This was covered by journalist Alfredo Pedullà, who has provided an additional update on this case on his own website. He says Traoré is ‘absolutely’ an option for Napoli to replace Lozano.
Pedullà adds the Spaniard has other offers, but he’s ‘waiting for Napoli’s response’ before deciding his future. That’s because a move to the Naples club appeals a lot to him.
