Sporx report Wolverhampton Wanderers have made an enquiry via intermediaries to sign Domagoj Vida from Besiktas.
The Croatian central defender has recently been in impressive form for his club and last weekend he scored in his side’s win against Sivasspor to put Besiktas back into the title race with 5 games remaining.
According to Sporx, a number of big clubs are interested in signing the 29-year old this summer and Wolves are said to be in the race for the player, along with Inter Milan and AS Roma.
The Turkish website report the Premier League side have already sounded out Besiktas through agents, and the Turkish side are looking to get €15m for him.
Wolves will be looking to build on their first season back in the top flight and are already looking to the next campaign.
Vida has recently linked with a move to Tottenham in the Turkish media and it seems Besiktas are ready to sell him because of their financial situation.
This season Vida has made 26 appearances for Besiktas and scored two goals. He is under contract at the Vodafone Arena until June 2022.
