According to Greek newspaper Sportday, as covered by Sdna, Wolves have again registered their interest in AEK striker Nelson Oliviera.

The Portuguese striker was heavily linked with a move to Premier League side in January, but the former Norwich City striker ended up staying with the Athens club.

At the time it was reported the former Portuguese international would be brought in to provide back up to Raúl Jiménez, and it’s likely to be the same scenario again.

It’s reported Wolves continue to monitor his situation in Greece, and they could return for the player this summer.

Oliviera’s contract with AEK will expire at the end of next season, so if he doesn’t renew his contract, he will be able to speak to overseas clubs in the new year with regards to a pre-contract agreement.

The 29 year old, who also had spells with Swansea City, Nottingham Forest and Reading, made 33 appearances for AEK in all competitions last season, scoring 16 goals, and providing 9 assists.
