In search of a new striker, Wolverhampton Wanderers have set their sights on a number of potential targets.
One of the names mentioned has been Gonçalo Ramos, currently at Benfica in Portugal, but he would cost around €40m.
Wolves are said to be willing to advance to try and sign him, but he isn’t the only player Bruno Lage’s side are looking at or holding talks for.
We know this because Florian Plettenburg, who works for Sky Germany, has taken to Twitter to report that there are currently ‘intensive negotiations between Wolves and Stuttgart right now!’ for Sasa Kalajdzic.

Not only that, but the Premier League side have reached a ‘verbal agreement’ with the striker.
They have yet to do the same with VfB Stuttgart, who want ‘around €25m’ for their forward, which is deal Wolves ‘want to finalise in the next few days’.
We’ll have to see about that, but Kalajdzic has long been linked with a move to the Premier League due to his goalscoring ability and size, and it appears it’s the Molineux side who are now all over it.
