Sdna.Gr have reported on the latest developments regarding PAOK’s pursuit of Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leo Bonatini.
It’s been well documented in the Greek media that PAOK are looking to sign the Brazilian attacker as a replacement for Aleksandar Prijovic, who they sold to Al Ittihad earlier this month.
Yesterday we covered claims from Greece that PAOK’s sporting director Mario Branco is in London to hold talks with Wolves for Bonatini.
A source close to the potential transfer confirmed to Sport Witness that the claims of talks are correct, but things are not yet advanced.
Today Sdna says both sides are in talks for over a possible loan deal and PAOK are also looking to insert a redemption clause for Bonatini.
It’s claimed the Greek club are looking to act quickly and they have a good chance of getting the 24 year old because he’s struggling to get games at Wolves.
Bonatini has made seven substitute appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in the Premier League, but has failed to score. The player was key in Wolves winning the Championship last season.
